These exercises in throwing paint explore ideas of release, control, and letting go of the outcome. Experimenting with an alter-ego in the driving seat, starts to reveal the subconscious choices, constraints or safety barriers that exist and questions notions of freedom. As the work progresses,
the physicality, the gesture of throwing and the way the paint moves in the air have become more important.
